Resources in Japanese:
平安京オーバレイマップ (Heian-kyo Overlay Map): Created by the Art Research Center at Ritsumeikan University. This map overlays a historical map of Heian-kyo over a modern GoogleMap of the city. Transparency of the overlay can be changed to see how historic places line up with modern.
(Notes: map moderately challenging to navigate without Japanese, GoogleMap set to users GoogleMap settings, however overlay map and other information available only in Japanese)
歌枕一覧マップ (Utamakura-at-a-glance Map): Similar in concept and execution to my Genji Map, this project looks at utamakura from waka poetry in general, just not waka from Genji.
(Notes: map navigable without Japanese but information provided and poetry are exclusively in Japanese)
川の名前を調べる地図 (River Name Lookup Map): Despite it's name, this resource includes a lot more information than just river names. You can look up river systems and principal rivers by prefecture, and the river info often includes things such as river classification, watershed information, historical information and what prefectures and cities the river(s)/system interacts with.
(Notes: extremely challenging without knowledge of Japanese, very challenging for non-native speakers)
和歌データベース (Waka Database): Search waka by anthology, author, and keywords.
(Notes: extremely challenging without knowledge of Japanese, moderate challenge for those without knowledge of pre-modern Japanese)
